if andy could, he would kiss his own ***, that's for sure

His recent comments about the strength of leOpard Trek remind me of the hot air blown by bottle and The Hog before the tour last year. Radio Shack was stacked and AC had a weak team by their words last year.... Sadly words don't make you go uphill. I for one hope Baby Boy Schleck is taught a lesson by such a weak team.

I know if Andy peaks right (and the chance of that is big) he'll probably finish 2nd at least and maybe even win, but I surely would laugh my *** off if he doesn't manage to finish 2nd at least (disregarding bad luck)

I figure you'll probably laugh even harder then, if it's another chain drop. :D

the language prolly has some influence in it tho.

anyway neither gilbert nor ricco come close to the master of cockiness. the special one himself, mr. jose mourinho :p

José Mourinho is to football what Bob Stapleton is to cycling. No matter how much cockiness and entertaining quotes he provides, the fact of the matter is every single team he's run has played boring, boring 1-0 football because 'not losing' is more important than 'winning'.

Cipo was the best at cockiness anyway. Also a fan of Stephen Roche calmly putting his finger to his lips as the crowd bayed for his head in the Giro too. That's an awesome cocky moment.

About dropping chains. During a short interview on the dutch tele last night they talked about his dropped chain. About how the world press and all the people that think they know about cycling were flaming Andy that he made a mistake because of poor shifting. According to Andy he didn't even shift when his chain dropped.... He still doesn't know what happened really.

p.s. I find the Andy is cocky comments kinda hypocrite by people who like Gilberts cockiness. Andy is cocky, but imo he takes his own words with a grain of salt as well. I like the guys.. I just don't like Andys attitude towards others races than the TdF and L-B-L.

Yes, I saw that as well. Maybe he should learn to shift when accelerating ;)

Its just because gilbert is much more popular on this forum and there is a lot of schleck/ leopard hate on this forum. I personally kinda find andys cockiness pretty funny, it adds to a colorful personality.

andy schleck being cocky again:D over him being better than contador on the mountains.

If my memory is working not shifting was the 1st story a few days/weeks later he admitted that he was changing gear - it was a dumb mistake

anyone know if team HTC will be using and making available there "MyTracks Live" data?
it was quite cool last year to be able to see just how far back the grupetto was, and was a very early live data source.

Gilbert got a new hair color for the Tour. I'm no too fond of it.

Jersey looks good on him though.

I just watched the video and he actually did not shift. He shifted immediately afterward to try and correct it. Both in slow motion and in real time, you can clearly see he didn't touch the shift lever.
