I think he will go big on AX3. I also think Andy, if fit will also. I do believe the fear (unknown factor of Froome) has gone from Bertie but nevertheless I can see him targeting him early. If Andy does the same then tough time for Sky.

Utter nonsense. No evidence of previous form that this will be the case. Froome is a pure engine, even on hills. He cannot jump on the pedals and accelerate away. Surely he would have shown this in at least one stage in the Vuelta if it was the case? All he could do was follow like a sheep.

What evidence do you want? The Vuelta where everything Froome did was fight against spasm-like post Tour and Olympics fatigue? Pure engine is Ivan Bassо or Levi Leipheimer. Froome is a very explosive climber based on the Tour and the 2011 Vuelta. He could drop Valverde and Contador on one of the hilly finishes. At the expense of a 'pure engine', ah?

I'd rate it like that: Froome 45%, Contador, 35%, Andy & others 20%

He had to attack cos he knew that in next stages Alberto will be stronger,he tried to take advantage of Alberto's bad race fitness.Thats my theory,maybe its wrong but its my opinion.

We will see if we can see best Alberto. In past Vuelta their attacks weren't as good as before and "Purito" resisted them well.
But Contador is a regular cyclist and he usually don't have bad days.
Duel should be Froome - Contador but if Andy get his level he can do it well too.

I do not think the tt will amke much difference between AC and Froomey so the tour will be made in the mountains. AC to win comfortably by 2 min++
