Some nice placings Overall in weeklong races, such as Ruta del Sol, Tour de Suisse, Vuelta Communidad Madrid

The only reason Larsson hasn't done any results this year is because he crashed badly in Tour of California, sacrificing himself for Haedo.

Riis has to give danish riders chances they don't really deserve. That is why it's Mørkøv and Vandborg and not Cooke & Larsson. You, as a Dane, should know that. Your name is bloody Sörensen so why am I not surprised that you don't give any critical thought to what Nicki Sorensen is doing in the squad.

Statistics are like mini-skirts .. they give you good ideas but hide the most important parts...

Judging from last years TDF vandborg seemed a stronger domestique. It's my opinion. you dont have to agree. I can easily live with it.

Yeah, I'd like to have JJ Haedo too but then he should have at least one helper.
I don't think it's necessary to have 8 domestiques fluttering around Contador. He could make do with 5.


And really Morkov has really done nothing significantly better than Cooke and how will Morkov cope with a second GT after the Giro? Goes for a lot of the helpers from the Giro..

Larsson is cack imo. I dont have 3 pages of statistics to prove that statement, it's just my opinion, I might be wrong, since you get so angry. But I wont loose any sleep over it..

Actually I like sweden a lot. go there at least once a year. I call em dirty swedes, as well as i call norwegians mountain monkeys. it's all friendly banter and in good spirit, and they give back as well as they take.

Tja muligvis. som jeg ser det, er det eneste jeg er skyld i en smule national bias ved at mene at Vandborg er bedre end Larsson, jeg indrømmer endda at jeg ikke har andre grunde end national bias, som givet er blevet forstærket af at læse dette forum. Hvis folk begynder at kalde mig Dum, Imbecil etc. og beskylder mig for at at stemme DF. Mener jeg at jeg har alt mulig ret til at forsvare mig og give igen af samme skuffe.

It's a fact well known to me.

I am also quite surprised by the exclusion of Larsson, but I am not so sure the nationalist bias plays such a big part. After all Riis is constantly criticized for not taking enough danish riders to the Tour and I do not think he suddenly changed opinion to please the press. That the domestiques Vandborg (and Nicki Sørensen) aren't the most exiting riders in pre- og post-stage interviews won't help much.

And I doubt that neither the Ayn Rand-worshippers, Saxo Bank (the company), nor Sungard are focusing on the danish market, but how all those sponsorship deals works are really beyond me.

What the danish press really wants is the return of Michael Rasmussen.
