For a total of 12 guys. Largest Dutch contingent in over 10 years... Maybe (i haven't checked) largest since the glory days of Panasonic v. Kwantum (and its successor teams) in the late 80 through early 90s.

I think it's just that Noval has got so comfortable under Contador's wing he no longer does anything other than protect him from the wind, but yes, when he was young he could climb a little. He wasn't Pantani, obviously, but he could have been a solid top 40.

It's been already discussed. The consensus is that Larsson wasn't selected because Sweden sold iron ore to the Nazis.

To think people complained about how Lotto never offered any support for Cadel. Hell, I fail to see a single rider on this team to support Van Den Broeck in the high mountains. Lang, Roelandts, Sieberg will be leadout men for Greipel whilst Gilbert will be doing his own thing. That leaves Van de Walle, Vanendert, Willems for the climbs right. If any touted contender has a weaker team for the mountains than Omega I would like to see it.

Thats funny giving as teams like Rabobank, SKY, Euskaltel, Liquigas, Garmin, BMC, Radioshack etc, etc all have good/decent climbers in their team's. If they dont need them, why bring them?

To be fair, OPL's squad as a whole isn't exactly overloaded with mountain goats.

exactly wanted to say that too. they shouldnt have that much leadout men for greipel they should have given more men to VDB.
