why? did you honestly think that no one was going to say this??

Are you saying you agree with statement?

I can't believe how empty that person's life must be that he wished harm on someone during a sporting event. Pathetic.

Yeah, not sure why a broken wrist would be season ending--he can still maintain fitness on his trainer. I guess we'll see in a few weeks.

Every break is different, of course, but Gesink was back on his bike yesterday already.

I'm sorry to hear of Levi's bad luck. I had a sneaking feeling he would end up winning the tour while other contenders were watching LA and AC.
Good news is he gets to spend time with Odessa and their cats, and dogs.
I hope to see Levi racing again later this year (How about the World Road/TT Championships in September or the Chrono des Nations TT in October).

I broke the scaphoid bone in my right wrist four years ago and it didn't fully heal for another two years, three surgerys and two permanent titanium screws later. Plus I still don't have full mobility in my right wrist.

It's a bad bone to break, because it's one of the main carpal bones and it only has one vain that supplies blood to the bone. So, if it's a complete fracture and turns into a nonunion, the bone can die and never you'd never fully recover.

I wish Levi a speedy recovery and the best of luck.

did I say anything to suggest I agreed with the statement??

it was such a predictable comment that you knew someone was going to say it. how could you be so surprised/shocked?
you knew it was coming regardless of its context, just as we knew that there'd be a bunch of replies to it...
