Yes, but he has the experience of the past 15 years to put it in perspective. Or is in Sky's pocket like Walsh?? :)

In fairness to Lemond giving initial support to Sky, he has said in the last 10 hours that he feels its "BS" that they do not release their power files to the public, along with their blood sample results.

Here's a source for that, if anyone is interested:

There's some good stuff in there, but too many ellipses in the quotes. Did he just sort of trail off when speaking, are they trying to give the reader a sense that he paused a bit, or are they cutting something out?

I'd like all teams to release as much data as possible but I honestly don't see how it would end the speculation in the short term. It might help curb the speculation in the long run, when we have abundant data and proper profiles for everybody, but until then, it won't really change anything in regards to suspecting how dirty a rider is. We already have a good idea of how many watts they're producing, but the question is not "how many", but "how".

I'm reminded of Armstrong's posted blood values then their revision to look "more normal." That worked. Not so much for the athlete, but it was very enlightening to those who knew what they were looking at.

They can post the data anonymously, grouped by rider. Yes, it's not going to end up being anonymous, but close.

Nowhere near close, they may as well put the names to it up front.

You'd only have to match the frequency of data to race programs to know exactly who's profile it who's. Hayman's will be different to EBH's, which will be different to Froome's, etc. Not hard to work out which profile belongs to which rider in each team.

I would like to have the data posted, but no need to attempt to hide it.

Expert analysis of it would also be required, so someone would need to put in some money to duplicate the CADF panel.
