Of the 3 remaining stages 1 is fully flat, 1 is flat until the final climb before a descent to the finish and the last 1 isn't super challenging.

he is still only 25 but he used to be very big talent until some years ago he had one of the worst crashes I think I've ever seen. I really hope he comes back but I have my doubts now. this seem to be a little point of light I hope, although he rides with gw shimano who train hard on itt always.

yesterday fabio duarte's younger brother alvaro, won the sprint in 3rd stage of vuelta cundinamarca, pretty impressive guys he beat imo. he seemed to have quite some talent, although is a bit different rider than fabio, more explosive and faster I'd say, he also seems to have the same incredible cornering skills as according to rvm he won this stage a bit in the same manner as fabio won the wc u23. no where near fabio's talent of course but perhaps in near future with fabio's connection we may seem him in europe

watch the guy in the middle. bryan ramirez. he's a true man for the future. he's uncharacteristic for a colombian. big in size and a real itt specialist and only 18 years old! in the elite field he had teh 4th best time.

yeah but tall for colombian proportions I mean. argiro ospina is also bug but older and not the talent of ramirez for sure although he defintely did an amazing u23 itt as you can see. the guy on the right is isaac bolivar, one of the 2 current best u23 riders in gobernacion antioquia, the best one is jaramillo, don't know why he didn;t particape though, jaramillo won vuelta colombia u23 this year. christian montoya rode with gobernacion elite team in usa earlier in august and won u23 classification in tour of utah, he's not even in their 10 best u23 riders of that team to give you an idea of the level.

I was very surprised that Jaramillo, Ramirez and Jeffrey Romero were all left out of the Avenir team in the end. The only reason I could think of was that they wanted guys who would work on the flat rather than secondary GC threats (wrt Jaramillo and Romero; Ramirez they maybe thought was too young).
