Two motorbikes tried to pass the peloton via the bicycle strip, one stopped, the other crashed into it and they fell into the peloton.

Stop this shite right now, ffs.
How many more riders need to be injured?

Good that the riders refused to continue the race.

Rumours of a skull fracture for Stig Broeckx. Let's hope it's just rumours.

Coma. He was hit by a moto in KBK earlier this year too...

Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery

The Tour of Estonia might have the worst startlist for a 2.1 race so far this season. The teams in attendance were:

CCC Sprandi Polkowice, Gazprom-RusVelo, Novo Nordisk, ActiveJet, Alpha Baltic-Maratoni.lv, Team Bliz-Merida, Cycling Academy, Minsk Cycling Club, Rietumu-Delfin, Staki-Baltik Vairas Cycling Team, Team Ringeriks-Kraft, and the Estonian, German, Swedish and Finnish national teams.

Stage 1 was won by Grzegorz Stępniak (CCC) and Stage 2 by Roman Maikin (Gazprom). Stępniak took the overall.

Samuel du Moulin won the Grand Prix de Plumelec-Morbihan.

And ironically one of the Race Horizon Park Peace races was cancelled for security reasons.

I am happy for both of them! They have both been loyal to the Tour of Luxembourg for years and have animated the race in the past. I think it was last year that Greipel really impressed me when he won the last stage with a solo attack from a day-long breakaway.

Pourseyedi only got 3rd on the classic Mount Fuji stage, 1'10" behind the winner Oscar Pujol (who has raced for an Iranian team before), nowadays he looks like a musketeer.

Marcos Garcia got 2nd, 56" behind, some of you might remember him from his days at Caja Rural.
So 2 Spanish riders who both ride for Japanese teams beat the Iranians, that's a bit of a surprise.
