Beautiful result after his Criterium International and great 1st LBL. I expect great things of this big Dutch talent!

And DvPoppel beats Degenkolb and Hofland in Norway. Pretty decent field there actually with also Nizzolo, Demare, Kristoff, Guardini and Gatto in the top 10.

Ow Vino no. I'm starting to think we need to breed our cycling champions in secret, away from the public eye

Oomen is isolated from the group of favorites at the moment. Nice opportunity to see what his descend skills are..

Finally Robert Power seems back from his strange injury - he's on the provisional startlist for Arnhem - Veenendaal Classic the 19th.

Glad to see him return, the kid got prospects.

Another Dutch cyclist who is extremely promising early on, only to then fade away (Gesink, Kelderman) or is it different this time?

You never know Jagartrott. Don't forget Kelderman is still young too.. and had leaders jersey in a few WT-races this year.. not bad I think.

Kelderman doesn't seem to have improved one bit since 2012/2013 though.

Oomen certainly has talent (a lot!), but it's not like he dominated the Tour de l'Ain. Friday he got dropped by De Clercq and Saturday he couldn't follow the same De Clercq, Latour and the only 19y old Gaudu the Grand Colombier. He got a bit lucky.

I certainly agree Hugo Koblet,

But he is believable though.Too much youngsters in cycling these days that don't seem to have weak moments, or a weak period. Give him some time. I don't even think Wilco is a 100% GC man because of his so so climb skills. More a TT specialist who can climb then the other way around.

Groenewegen easily wins a crash-filled Arnhem-Veenendaal Classic. He also won last year.

Joey Rosskopf won the Tour du Limousin after maintaining the lead achieved in a break on stage 1.

Sonny Colbrelli was 2nd on the GC, 1'' behind the american, despite winning the last two stages of the race and being second on another.
