It's usually a tough sprint finish, in fact Gallopin won that stage in 2015. Will he be better than Kristoff, Démare or Dumoulin? I don't think so.

Very nice week's work by Calmejane. I did not expect such a good time trial from him.

I wonder how good this guy can be.

Impressive win for Valverde, his 5th Murcia victory. And next week he could take his 5th Ruta del Sol victory. Would be historic.

Well, with "your guy" there, it's going to be tough

I'm not sure, Valverde already has some race days under his belt and looks in amazing shape. He is definitely the favorite for me.

I agree he's the favorite, but with Contador you never know. He can produce magnificent ride out of the blue, we witnessed that many times. I remember Pais Vasco couple of years ago, I think 2014. Valverde came in spectacular shape, attacked on first steep hill of the race, he get rid of everybody except Alberto, who hang on for dear life. At least it seemed liked that :( . Couple of seconds later, Contador accelerated and leave Bala in the dust... You just never know with rider like him.

I can't wait for the Valverde and Contador matchup in Andalucía, that will be top-notch. I would honestly be surprised if anyone can beat Valverde, he is probably even better than when he crushed the MTF last year in the same race. Vamos Bala!
