EF continues their awesome form in ITTs. It's baffling how they went from one of the top TT teams in the early 2010's to absolutely awful in mid-to-late 2010's and now they're very good again.

Cort has been great so far, two wins from the bunch (one for 3rd place), 2nd in ITT and even 11th in MTF. What this man can't do? (apparently to ride in echelons...)

Apparently Rivera and Celano caught him with 2km to go and dropped him afterwards.

It was almost like being there yourself - apart from the getting soaked bit - just "standing" by the finish line, waiting, not really knowing a whole feck about what was going on.
But then even the live-feed at the finish line died…

Meanwhile Kevin Rivera lost over 12min on the first stage in Langkawi, but apparently he has been sick for the last few days.

Tbf, he's nearly always really inconsistent in short stage races, I mean Poels level inconsistent or even worse.

Nakane wins stage 6 in a 2 men sprint after a late attack. Battistella finished 3rd, Fedorov gained 5 seconds on Celano.
Nakane is a quality rider, a fast guy who climbs really well, he's now 6th on the gc and has finished top 10 in both the Japan cup and the Tour of Japan before, he's by far the best Japanese rider that Nippo have on their team.

Sometimes it can… take a while for PCS to process race results.

There must be some bickering in the peleton if the stage winner gets 16 minutes - Most teams inc Movistar had a rider in the break so who was going to chase.
