And then Lutsenko went the wrong way...

EDIT: might still win, no one can close the last few meters.

Yeah think he's gone again. Got some help from the moto's there.

Mattia Gaffuri, who finished second behind Grossschartner, is Vergallito's podcast partner and another Italian young rider who's now training alone and pushing a lot more watts than a couple years ago when he was riding for an u23 team.
He's planning to compete in the Zwift Academy later this year.

10k to go in Tour de l'Ain. Should normally be a sprint, but there are plenty of attacks now. EF and Ag2R most active.

Tour de l'Ain is approaching the final climb of the day. EF has been pulling at the front for most of the stage so far, apparently for Cepeda.

I struggle to see him winning on this downhill finish, but who knows...

now Carthy is down as well. Was looking forward to see a sprint between him, Cepeda and Storer (+ preferably Elissonde). It doesn't get much less explosive than that, I guess

edit: the remaining two crash into each other on the finish line... o_O

Storer lmao
I just listened to a podcast with Walscheid the other day, and he talked about Storer as a team mate a bit, and how he mistakenly took Fröhlinger's bike to start the ITT in his first ever Vuelta.

As a result, he had to wait for two minutes to switch bikes, and almost missed the time cut. Somehow this just came back to mind... :D

Considering that Storer only lost 59 seconds to the winner in that TT some parts of the story may have been made up for extra effect.
