Not quite a "Battle of the Arnauds", as De Lie got away with a group - including Campenaerts - and won the sprint from that group.

They might be small races, but it's 125 UCI points for every win (which is more then coming 3rd on a Tour stage) so Lotto D will be happy to keep winning them.

Edit: he got a 100CHF penalty for it.

Anywhere but a French 2.1, it would have been a five-second decision by the commissaries to DQ him from the race.

And maybe one day, Hugo Page will acquire the skill and confidence to contest a minor bunch sprint. Not the first time he's finished like a bullet, far too late.

Askey could have left him a bit more room, but yeah, not worthy a relegation (or any fisticuffs) I think.

We'll have to wait till the highlights to see how he did it, but Victor Campenaerts wins the Druivenkoers Overijse! He beat Tiller in a sprint (how?). De Buyst got 3rd. Seems like Lotto can dominate those smaller races without De Lie too.
