There's a few teams who need to be ashamed of themselves today
Lotto/SQS to let the peloton with De Kleijn, Groenewegen etc come back, while they had plenty of guys to sustain the pace.
DSM for betting against a 50% chance break, in favor of their 5% chance sprinter. Had Eddy taken turns, that meant their team would not have to chase which meant other teams needed to burn through their sprint train. Would have been beneficial either way.

To add to that: Lampaert dragging G2 over when Magnier was in G1. Intermarché having De Pooter actively disrupt in the final break. De Lie doing all sorts of suicide attacks earlier on. Junior races are raced more sensibly. And still DSM take the cake because they've gotten it into their heads that Liepins is the most underrated sprinter of the past decade. Makes their obsession with Bol seem sensible by comparison, at least he got a big result on (rare) occasions...

De Lie did more work in that group than the other teams combined. I do think it was weird that Van Moer wasn't doing a lot tho, but they're definitely not the most guilty ones imo. Neither is QS imo. They should've done more but Magnier and Reinderink (I think) had to come back, so I guess they had to take a breather. Could've done more after that, and mr solo Lampaert shouldn't have been doing turns in G3 the whole time with his teammates ahead.

Find it weird your forgetting Intermarché, 3 guys with the fastest guy in that first echelon and they were just waiting for some reason. Then in the end they had De Pooter (who isn't slow) with that group of 5 but they decided to ruin their own train chasing them meaning Thijssen was alone in the end. Worst team by far today imo.

DSM also horrible in the end ofcourse.

Happy none of them won and Mozzato, who made it to the first echelon (but on his own) did eventually.
