Tactically Del Toro should not really be towing Ryan if that is him, though I think due to the physical difference it probably won't matter.

He has a thing for that - there is also a Thomas Geraint in his book

Anyway, Großschartners weakness are certainly the ultra tough mountains like today but would have expected way more. With good form, he should be able to match all the riders up front apart from Del Toro

But Großschartner is really far back with some Austrian CT riders

reminded me of the good old times when Jansch was still commentating on German ES, and we had Thomas Geraint, Dennis Rohan etc
