Pretty inevitable result. Feels like we could potentially have had one of the best smaller stage races of the season had UAE not sent Del Toro here, but oh well.

Glad I watched that, was good even with UAE taking all the stages, turned over to France and it looks like they are having a picnic out there,
Me of all people ,semi bummed out with the UAE management decision today.. Del Toro could have still got a similar result but first really putting a beat down on Archie Ryan.. Majka is 35 ,team should have tried to get him the win instead of bright future 20 year old who will likely have lots of winning later. Rafal could have won I don't see why they didn't let him!!!
I can't believe the way those 3 just roasted everyone off their wheel, they rode great!! The race design is really excellent.. Picture postcard everyday..I can't climb that fast in a car or motorcycle!! They were flying!!

Del Toro's first race since the Giro. The team management may have wanted to back him to make sure he knows the team still believe in him and that his confidence doesn't take too much of a beating from how that race panned out at the very end. Definitely it would be nice for the team to give some of the loyal helpers and veterans some of these smaller races as a thank you for their hard work and to help ensure their continued support for the name riders in the bigger events, but there's definitely plenty of logic behind throwing their weight behind del Toro here.

I think you're right, just my opinion is semi negative.. just looks like less and less jobs for 35,36 year olds.. I hope that UAE keeps Majka around for the balance of his career, he is still super productive and has great sense on the bike, just flows to doing the right thing. I don't know why he has always been a guy I watch, not flashy just gets it done. UAE had different schedule for Del Toro last year, I hope all this is a setup for Vuelta..?

Have a chance to watch the Tour of Austria tomorrow, but it doesn't seem to be on Discovery here in The UK. Is it on Tiz?

Was hoping for a ToA stage win for Majka, so a bit disappointed. I always like to see him race.

If you search for it on YouTube, you will likely find full races posted same day. I am watching from US and there is a live feed each day, race start to finish with @5 minutes before and after.. It's available in German and English..
