Buitrago did everything wrong there, didn't seem to know where the finish was.
Everytime I look up I see EF leading the peloton.
Yesterday I saw the same thing and Carapaz got 24th out of it.
My thoughts exactly. On a twisting finish he stayed locked on the wheel as if 250m out instead of 75m and had no room to move out and accelerate.Buitrago did everything wrong there, didn't seem to know where the finish was.
Yeah, just watched the replay. Whoever is as in front going into the final turn before the line was likely to win. Sort of like getting in front before the final turn in Strade Bianchi.Buitrago did everything wrong there, didn't seem to know where the finish was.
Yes, loved the scenery—and tomorrow could be just as spectacular. Those are some stunning shots of that hilltop village.
Looking like an immediate first pro victory for Taillieu. I think he got a bit overshadowed after he crashed in the Europeans TT. I would rate him higher than Schoofs and Van Kerckhove in that regard, and thus missed out on potential medals that would have put him more in the limelight.
