I am interested in how the sprint plays out today. Yesterdays sprint final was strange. Van Poppel and Oliveira were one.two into the final corner with Welsford and Molano nowhere to be seen. Bahrain controlled most of the last 3kms with Bauhaus nowhere, while Groenewegen was the only one who stayed with his leadout before being dropped off in the last 500 metres.

Groenewegen had the most perfect lead out but is lacking punch at the finish. Anyway he struggled at the 2024 Tour of Hungary and then turned it around. One can only hope.

Really pleased for Askey. Was beginning to look like a rider who could only put it together for one or two races each season, and was maybe a little low down the FDJ hierarchy. But has already had a couple of consistent periods of form this season, with some great results.

Ineos should be all over him with the imminent Total merger.

Can Astana do another 1/2 on tommorrows climb? Lopez should be the best climber and Higuita was getting better in Romandie's last stage. Almost no competition or Sosa must find his legs again?

Okay, from what I understand, all the riders involved in the Hongrie crash are okay-ish.
Though, Wandahl will be staying in the hospital overnight for observation.

Based on the results I'd expect it's Gruel, I don't think if it was a dirty move made on purpose as it seemed to me that he misjudged his speed in respect to the turn, but he surely strongly impeded on those IPT riders. He was indeed quite more efficient at that than those careless protesters in the Giro yesterday.
