This Copenhagen race is a great example of a one day race where every team should only have 6 riders. 24 riders less would be a positive when it comes to safety and one domestique less in the sprint teams would be positive for the potantial entertainment.

there is, but if the race and UCI agrees, a rider is allowed to start elsewere. I assume this happened.

Can't really fault the UCI on this one, they want the best riders at the debut edition of the race, and it's not like the TDS organisers are waiting on tenterhooks to see how Jordi Meeus does in the MTT.
