So... today Boaro was actually able to count. Guess he got a bit of a revenge for the blunder yesterday.

I'm sensing a certain influx of Danes in this thread.

Tiejs Benoot new GC leader
I think that is a mistake. He'd have to have won both intermediate sprints to lead the GC.

edit: and it was. "Boaro vandt kongeetapen og er i gult"

Resultat, 3. etape:
1. Manuele Boaro (Ita-Tinkoff-Saxo) 4:18.33 t.
2. Matti Breschel (Dan-Tinkoff-Saxo) +0.12
3. Tiesj Benoot (Bel-Ltb) s.t.
4. Jonas Aaen Jørgensen (Dan-Riwal Platform) s.t.
5. Rasmus Guldhammer (Dan-TreFor Blue Water) +0.14

Without counting intermediates, Boaro leads with 18'' over Benoot in GC. Overall in the bag for him.

Oh, the live-update explicitly stated that the Lotto-man was in yellow, but I see they've changed it now.

I assume this makes Boaro quite an overwhelming favourite to take the overall. - Is there anyone nearby in the GC with TT-skills that could threaten his lead, or is it pretty much settled?

Never (blindly) trust the live-updates, especially from such a poorly organized race as Post Danmark Rundt ;)

Strong ride from Guldhammer. He was on the attack a few times in the finale and was caught by the peloton 2 k from the line and still with a good finish.

Yep. Now is make or break for him. If he doesn't get a pro contract next year, I doubt he'll ever get a pro contract again.

Agreed. Do you know if this is his last race before joining Saxo-Tinkoff for the rest of the year?

With only knowing a handful of the times, I think this means Tinkoff is 1-2 in the GC.

Wow I didn't know Lutsenko could TT

Good to see him get a result though. It's been fairly disappointing since he became pro.

I know Guardini hasn't got a contract for next year yet. I'm guessing it's the same for Lutsenko? :p
Ah, contract year syndrome. One of the things I love about cycling :p
