Skydive takes another win, now with Palini apparently, so it probably was a bunch sprint.

Your original view of Skydive being ultra strong seems spot on.

Yeah but Wanty's even worse, coming in behind 3 man teams while they have a six man team consisting of all moderate to great sprinters for an 8 km TTT, and finishing more than 2 minutes behind.

Apparently the TTT didn't count towards GC, so that might explain some of the results.

Today's menu involves a circuit race around Port-Gentil. Stage 7:

Maybe a monsoon can disrupt Skydive.

Weird, maybe there was some kind of rain or something like that involved?

I can't see any other way the gaps would be so big on an 8 km circuit. teams like Wanty are almost 10 km slower on average.

5 Nolan Hoffman (RSA) Nationalmannschaft S?dafrika

GC top 5 stays the same.

These guys rode fast. Really fast.
The same every time. Someone breaks the hour record (multiple), but when it's in Africa no-one gives a damm.....

Because they rode 53-54 kph in average for 3 hours.

That is actually pretty damn fast.
I like how even though the image itself says they did 55.596 kph, you gave it your estimate as well :D

Eduardo Sepulveda wins Classic Sud Ardeche. :) 2. Loubet, 3. Felline.
It was broadcasted live on L'Equipe 21, it was quite interesting to follow. And tomorrow they'll also broadcast the Drome Classic. Here's the profile of this next race:
