Really great news considering he was uncontrollably convulsing and otherwise motionless on the ground. Apparently underwent heart surgery last year too. Wonder what the heck happened, shock?

I did consider it as there appeared to be no thread, which surprised me. So I just mentioned it in here instead.
This race certainly deserves its own thread though. Always a good watch, but especially so today.

We're live! Front group has almost 3 minutes to the peloton, and around 45 seconds to another big group.
And the peloton appears to be splitting a little.

Yeah, the peloton is not coming back. Under 40 Ks, and 3:30ish (last time they showed the time-gap). Meanwhile, the gap to the chase group is wobbling up and down.
