Wiebes dominating the only 2.7 KM prologue in Baloise Ladies Tour:

The rest of the way down, it never jumps by more than 1 second, with several riders having same time.

Unfortunately for Emily, she didn't have quite enough watts...

(I'm sure some of you clever math-geeks can use her average speed to calculate how many seconds she lost! )

It's a joke to have two ITT's/prologue in a six day race. Then of course at the Lotto thuringen tour they had a 31kms ITT which did not fit in with the race profile.

Considering the terrain they're using, this race becomes better with two time trials, in my opinion. Otherwise you'll just see Wiebes win all the stages. Now there's at least for other riders to win the GC, like we saw with Van Dijk two years ago.

I assume the alternative would have been no stage or a short crit race, and I have no problem with having a prologue instead of that. But then I also enjoy time trials a lot more than you appear to do.

I have a philosophical objection to two ITT's in a one week stage race. Anyway, it was good to see Kool get closer to Wiebes. Maybe Kool can get a win because she's had a disappointing year.
