It was a nice move for her, especially as she has a pretty good fast finish herself so wouldn't have been the first rider I'd have expected to see soloing there from that group.

Wiebes dominating the only 2.7 KM prologue in Baloise Ladies Tour:
Did you expect there would be more than one?
2.7km seems a ridiculous length for a TT, they should be 10k minimum imo
Well, it was a prologue, which can max be 7 ks...
Ok max 7k then, an effort of less than a minute is just a joke when riders have to be separated by thousandths of a second I resultsWell, it was a prologue, which can max be 7 ks...

And they have a 11 km ITT later in the race, although it is shorter than it's been in the past couple of editions.
It's a joke to have two ITT's/prologue in a six day race. Then of course at the Lotto thuringen tour they had a 31kms ITT which did not fit in with the race profile.
Considering the terrain they're using, this race becomes better with two time trials, in my opinion. Otherwise you'll just see Wiebes win all the stages. Now there's at least for other riders to win the GC, like we saw with Van Dijk two years ago.
You did not need the prologue.
I assume the alternative would have been no stage or a short crit race, and I have no problem with having a prologue instead of that. But then I also enjoy time trials a lot more than you appear to do.

Only in comparison to Wiebes, she's still the 2nd best sprinter in the WWT.I have a philosophical objection to two ITT's in a one week stage race. Anyway, it was good to see Kool get closer to Wiebes. Maybe Kool can get a win because she's had a disappointing year.

one third of her races shes on the podium, nearly half the races Wiebes has done shes won. Being second to Wiebes is a great achievement.I don't think Kool has won a race this year. And I am right.
I don't feel , and hey maybe wrong its not unknownone third of her races shes on the podium, nearly half the races Wiebes has done shes won. Being second to Wiebes is a great achievement.
