The Irish boy's name Fionn (a variant of Finn, the name of her brother) sounds even more like one.Niamh sounds like a F1 car passing by.

Eh? She was obviously racing for GC as 3rd place was well on the line. NFB sat in the wheels for like 50km, everyone's gonna be beaten easily after that.
At least the Mountains jersey went to someone who can climb (Tony Martin (yes, that one) won it in 2009)This was the 2009 Tour de Suisse, but for women.
? Chloe Dygert has 1 road victory in the last 4 years and it was in a small group sprint. Niewiadoma doesn't have the sprint and had no chance of winning if Reusser caught them.
Dygert still only has one win on the road. At least on the men's side Remco gets a bunch of big real wins along with all of his imaginary wins.Yep cos comparing the record of a rider who lost the best part of 14 months of those 4 years to serious injury is totally the same thing 🙄
Dygert would have won yesterday's stage because that's what drives her to carry on racing, winning, she attacks and wouldnt have let NFB settle in behind like Kasia did (NFB has even admitted Sd Worx gameplan wasnt winning the stage it was just protect GC), but Kasia settles for positioning, that's why she doesn't win so often.
I mean, in worst case do the race without televsion production, but I am afraid on WT level that is not allowed and won't happen.
Fingers crossed that everything will be solved.
The 2023 WWT schedule has been published. The Tour will have 7 stages, while the Giro will have 8. The Tour of Scandinavia is so far on 6 stages, but as we've seen this year, it might change before the race starts.
Don't misquote me like that. My post clearly says 2024...now.Bit late...![]()
Surprised to see the Women's Tour still on there, and at 6 stages, but I guess its still all tbc and not a guaranteeDon't misquote me like that. My post clearly says 2024...now.
Narvaez seems to have gone full-MAL in the Tour of Austria, not the best start list but also some good riders in there, will be interesting to see if he can hold it for the Vuelta.
That's hardly a lesser known women's race.
Also has it's own thread.
This is sometimes used as a general thread for women's cycling. This particular news have been discussed in the general news thread a few weeks ago.Not sure this quite fits here, but till the TdFF thread kicks off, next year's TdFF race is reported to start in Rotterdam and have 3 of the 8 stages in the Netherlands
