It is funny how Gilbert still managed to become top favorite for this in just a week. In a way it is unfair as this is basically a classics rider vs GT Riders.

*****
Philippe Gilbert

****
Joaquim Rodriguez

***
Damiano Cunego, Alejandro Valverde

**
Fränk Schleck, Jelle Vanendert, Vincenzo Nibali

*
Thomas Voeckler, Bauke Mollema, Andy Schleck

Sanchez isn't participating. Also think 260km classics like these are too hard for Albasini. FW is really the only of the 3 he ever did well in.

1 Gilbert
2 Mollema
3 Vanendert
4 Voeckler
5 F Schleck
6 Rodriguez
7 Nibali
8 T Dekker
9 Vandenbroeck
10 Henao

Dekker_T is misinformed. Samu is racing Liege
Source? Because last time I checked after Amstel he said he would not race fw or liege. Can't find any news that he is riding either. So please. Source!!!

With Gilbert not quite able to make the difference on the climbs, who knows, maybe even Freire could hang on. If they take him to the finish, they're toast.

Most open LBL in years I think, Gilbert is clearly no where near his form of 2011, the Schlecks have loads of excuses but no performances as yet, Sanchez and Evans not riding, Valverde hasn't shown anything, Rodriguez is flying but LBL isn't his best classic.

Really hoping and expecting this one goes to an unexpected late attack, but it won't be Voekler he will be marked, and not strong enough.

Greg Van Avermaet...come on BMC give him a shot.

EDIT didn't think Sanchez would ride, but he's on the start list :)

Jelle could be a good choice, but I think he must do something before the finish, because in a "bunch" sprint there is no chance for him. And I also hope for a Mollema top5 finish.

But yeah, the most realistic scenario is an Andy Schleck win after a 40 km solo attack.

Phil Gil definetly not taking it. Visibly out of top form still. Sammy is better, Gerrans is a questionmark, same w/ Niiibali.

Alejandroooo.....

But: It's for Tommy this time :p  :D
