Setback for Pogacar: sick Ulissi drops out for Liège-Bastogne-Liège

Really bad news for Pogacar.

Why is it that CN must report that the triple AGR-FW-LBL, in an article about the men's race in reference to Pog, has been won only by so-and-so woman and so-and-so men, when the women and men don't race together? They are separate things and should be reported in separate articles related to like things, as the race in question is the men's not the women's.

It's a nice easy training ride amongst two categories of the same team. Yet they don't mix in the races, thus they don't belong to the same statistics. If they want to combine different categories within the same records, then, in theory, they should eliminate the categories and have a unisex sport, but that is merely ridiculous. I'm talking from a logical point of view.

Sign of the times I'd say.

In this case I agree, because it was an article specifically about Pogačar's chances of achieving the tripple. Give Vollering her own article!
However, in a generally article about it, borh versions should totally be included.

Anyway, Benoot is gonna win. He got nr. 21.

Right, an article about Pog's chances, with which Vollering has nothing to do. Give her her own article.

Sometimes when a few riders are above the others, an outsider can take advantage of it and win. However, going by what has been happening this season the strongest rider will likely win which means that Remco and Tadej should be the first two positions. By which order? Even though, Remco is very strong, I just don't think think that Pogačar is going to get dropped as he is still in very good shape so it will likely come down to a sprint and I will back Remco to do a little surprise and win.

I am not a QS fan by any stretch of the imagination, but it'd be pretty sweet revenge on their poor season so far if they are the ones that can actually beat Pogagod. They're saying they know how and I wouldn't put it past them to pull one out of a hat.

@peterfin, „Is Remco the new "muscles from Brussels"?“

Probably yes… Nicely developed shoulder and neck party… :)

BTW, I read Remco assumes the finale will start at Bastogne already, tomorrow. So a finale from Bastogne all the way back to Liege, through the Ardennes…

Can‘t wait to see an epic battle now…
