Really, really surprised that Fuglsang could drop them all at the last climb. I thought that Alaphillippe and a couple of others would be able to follow him at the very least. And therefore he should have attacked earlier. Clearly I have to take back what I said! Alaphilippe's downspiraling form isn't really that big of a surprise, if you think about it - he has been flying for weeks, and eventually it had to end.

How can you be surprised? Its the hardest climb and he is the strongest rider.

Astana with 5 guys on the pointy end coming to the bottom of RaF. If only they'd gone on the front earlier, they might have been able to get Fuglsang clear. Can't see him being let go now though.

I may have spoke too soon.

You jinxed it in his favor :D

Is it speaking too soon again to say that a 35 second lead over the Nibali group is more than enough, and he should win with comfort now?

RaF, you kill them on the climb, and the bury them on the false flat after.
