I dont think it was funny or laughing about like some others are doing. Im more sad about the ending. Ruined the whole race with that stupid move.

Hirschi and Pog didnt get a chance.

Rog will probably win because of Ala being relegated. He was gonna be 4th.

Ala is a fool on that bike most of the time. He almost knocked Hirschi down earlier in the last km. Just plain silly. Maybe a lesson learned since he has so far up until now always escaped without something bad happen.

Im on the opposite side of this: Pogacar and Hirschi are kids who are already at the very forefront of the sport and already have big wins this year. I like them both but couldn’t care less that they didn’t get to sprint for another win. That was pure comedy and I loved it.

If he was Sagan, he'll be relegated, penalized with a fine and forbidden to race for the rest of 2020 already!!!
Or just allowed to get on with the race with zero punishment, like the Vantomme incident. It's hard to argue that Sagan is a guy that gets a rough deal from the commissaires, because the two times Sagan has been penalised, he absolutely should have been, and it's not like he hasn't trodden that line without crossing it enough to be penalised a couple of times too. The DQ the first time was harsh and the initial relegation seemed fair... but relegation's the same thing that has happened to Alaphilippe here and rightfully so. It's just that with it being a small group the relegation doesn't send him that far down. It's only because it's a one-day race and not a stage race that there are no longer-lasting implications like the points penalty proved for Sagan.

Ala should be relegated but as Hirchi just said himself when you are stuck to a guys wheel it can happen.

Getting a little sick of all the holier than thou people here who cry when a rider crashes as a result of having his wheel inside another riders buttcheeks.

Edit: He has been rightly relegated

Alaphilippe should just be DQed from the entire results really. He looked around before moving in the sprint. Totally on purpose.
