I remember a swiss article from before the Worlds last year where they strongly suggested Cancellara was very angry at how everything developped. I think he refused to speak about it at the time, probably for fear of saying out loud what he really thought of the situation...

He created a great atmosphere but his managing style also created some tensions I believe ... (if I understood your post correctly, you are also alluding to that). Of course that is the risk of relating to your riders, other managers try to have as little as possible to do with their riders in order to avoid such conflict

This is when he apologized to Riis and discussed about coming back to Saxo.

The Hog promised the world and delivered an Atlas.....

well, we were saying about Fuglsang and Cancellara, naturally not about the whole merger monster. yeah, you are right, take a notice, Fabi, Jens, Stuey and Fuglsang chosen to stay with the Legend sacrificing Riis сos friendship is more valuable than a functionary сounting money. this fact says a lot about current situation in cycling hierarchy. Who rulezz the game??! Yeh, it's Andy Schleck! :)

Ah man, delusional, ***, or a troll with a PD, take your pick :D

*facepalm* (You have a face, and you have a palm. Bring those two together and you have a facepalm)

So what about loyalty in the current cycling hierarchy? Riis made them stars and what do they give him? They start their own team behind his back. If the person who does that rules the game then there's something wrong with this world.

Сlear. If you don't have arguments or just dislike what I post - it is a facepalm. Brilliant! :)

Loalty is a moral concept, not a sporting one. There's a matter of choice sooner or later in one's life. And they chose more rights, more free, more money.

Definition of facepalm according to urbandictionary:

"The only logical answer to a stupid question or statement."

So it has a meaning. Bear that in mind whenever I reply *facepalm* again.

If you post *facepalm", I'm 100% certain that my statement is totally correct, so...reply it as you like :)

everyone hates me?? haha, ok, no problem. )

I don't think it's so decisive. Anyways a rider makes key decisions (if to attack or not and when) by himself. It's the matter of Bruynel's ambitiousness and nothing more.

Me thinks this is what the Hog is trying to prevent, AW. The Pecks do not make the best decisions on the road. They have managed to lose races though.
