Yeah indeed. Doesn't matter if half of the team wants out of that **** team, they'll force them to stay.

I hope Fabs and Jakob get the **** out of Radio**** at the end of the season. Doesn't matter where they go as long as it's not Failshack

To tow an ideological enemy Contador? it's foolish even to dream about that. Forget it. RSNT is a team of friends. :D

:confused::confused: what does it mean?

This thing J-Rod did, after he realized that according to Andy, everyone else was racing for second, so he didn't even have to go that hard up the Muur

No. Team CSC/Saxo Bank was a team of friends. Leopard and Radioshack should have no credit for any of the good team chemistry - if there's any left.. Those teamwork values, that are important on Saxo and created this close network between riders, directors and staff, eventually cost Riis half of the team when a drunken rich kid promised pride and glory for The Schlecks on a new luxembourgish team.

Btw, I wouldn't be surprised to see Andy having a go at his current team/staff sometime soon after these comments from Jakob. They are as close as they can get as friends.

Except Cancellara and Fuglsang want out. And Stuart O'Grady already bailed on them.

I neve said anything about leaving Team Schleck, only talked about them not joining the team of Contador.

I don't read anything about Cancellara is more opinion than info

I remember a swiss article from before the Worlds last year where they strongly suggested Cancellara was very angry at how everything developped. I think he refused to speak about it at the time, probably for fear of saying out loud what he really thought of the situation...

He created a great atmosphere but his managing style also created some tensions I believe ... (if I understood your post correctly, you are also alluding to that). Of course that is the risk of relating to your riders, other managers try to have as little as possible to do with their riders in order to avoid such conflict

Actually one of Frandy's griefs was that Riis was never around and that it was Andersen that coached them

Who holds the money RSNT? Isn't it Bruyneel.

They are his sponsors (nissan, Twek and Shack) so he has the power, no?
Becca has the license, but Bruyneel is part of the McQauid branch is he not?

well, we were saying about Fuglsang and Cancellara, naturally not about the whole merger monster. yeah, you are right, take a notice, Fabi, Jens, Stuey and Fuglsang chosen to stay with the Legend sacrificing Riis сos friendship is more valuable than a functionary сounting money. this fact says a lot about current situation in cycling hierarchy. Who rulezz the game??! Yeh, it's Andy Schleck! :)

I think it's more like 50-50 as I believe Becca is still putting money in albeit less than last year

...but then you have Andy declaring that all of his successes occurred under Andersen and his failures at the Tour he implies are all under the watchful eye of Riis. So is it Andersen's coaching that limits him overall or Riis' tactics/strategy at the Tour that undermines Andersen's work?

Yes that's also true ... but I think part of the problem was also that some riders (and especially the leaders) didn't get along with him anymore

Wow, I wouldn't have expected that... Gallopin is a good DS who has worked well with Andy before but I thought the Schlecks would be able to impose Andersen. Looks like they have no influence whatsoever on this team

Schlecks won't be on this team after July. That's one thing certain. It's all falling apart.

I think many people will try and get the hell out of there but I'm afraid the Schlecks won't be able to... they are stuck, for better or worse. Could be that the sponsor pulls out though, Nissan unwilling to step up, Becca bored with two seasons and no TdF victory, no more funding, end of team
