This team.....is horrible, the leadership is horrible and the riding is horrible. Instead of going for stage wins like they should, they are trying to fight over 14th,15th place on the GC! Imagine that! Pacing guys up the mountain to limit loses under 5 minutes lol...

WTF are you talking about? They've got 2 guys in the top 7, one of which is likely to improve with the ITT's coming up.

If tomorrows breakaway is big enough they should try to get anyone from Monfort, Horner, Schleck, Zubeldia, Gallopin or Kloden in the break, if I were RSNT now they should stage hunt plus go for team GC. With so many guys high overall if the break survives they could be back in yellow for a short while.

I dig what you are saying re stage wins. The team award though, I don't think it's something to aspire to, certainly at this stage in the race if at all. Stage wins or Jerseys. White is out for RSNT I think. As is Green. So perhaps KoM.

Well once again it gets ugly and Kloden who has not really been involved in bashing RANT up till now, joins the party.

Their Tour is now up in the air with Schleck and Kloden and Horner to a degree all flopping and Canc losing his jersey but at the same time Monfort and Zubeldia looking good and in top 10 positions, especially if Monfort can reproduce some of his TTs from last year and Canc of course can still win a couple of stages due to his TT and Schleck may infiltrate some breaks later on in the Tour.

Saw an interview clip of Frank Schleck after stage 7 during the prime time coverage at NBC Sports. Did he mean that he was "loyal" because he waited for Klodie, but the team was not loyal to Schleck because only one teammate remained with him to pace him after the crash on stage 6?

That's the way I heard it. His long pause before he made the comment was telling.

Thanks! I couldn't quite make up some of what he said.

Also, right after Schleck, NBC Sports played a clip of interview with Horner. He sounded quite angry, very un-Horner like. Sounded like he was angry at Schleck? Or was he angry at Kloden?

Yep. Very un-Horner like.

I'm not sure if he was upset with Frank. He may have been p!ssed a Klodi. Apparently they are not the best of friends and he was probably ordered to stay with him and then Klodi just sucked on the last climb.

That and they have virtually no chance at a high GC.... Not that they really did.

Thanks. I replayed the clip a couple of times, but couldn't decide who he was angry at. Initially, I thought it sounded like he was upset that Frank didn't stay with them after Frank asked him to drop back to help Klodie. Or something like that. Then I thought that he was perhaps upset that Klodie wasted his time. Not sure though. Maybe Horner is upset at Klodie's tweet when Horner wasn't first selected to the TDF team. But again, Horner doesn't seem like the type that holds grudges and he is definitely a team player.

I wonder if they have nine yellow Giro Selectors for tomorrow? They are required by the rules of course :D

Interesting. So I'm the liar?
It's much simpler than all this, but I'll spell it out: RadioShack is not a team. They're a bunch of riders wearing the same kit. They don't have 6 cards to play, because that implies someone sacrificing himself with a more kamikaze move. Not to mention that, historically, Bruyneel's teams have never done anything with numerical superiority.

So far, everyboby has done, what Gallopin asked them to do. And he's the one that holds the cards going into the mountain stages.

Indeed the Frenchman has effectively shown everything this season.

He demonstrated he is a good classics rider particularly on the cobbles, in the spring classics
He demonstrated he can sprint in the Dauphine.
He demonstrated he can climb well in the Tour
