Well as you mentioned him, here's a little extract from his blog this morning:

For only the second time since 1999, I am not at the Tour de France. Strange? Very. But unlike 2008 when Astana did not receive an invitation, this was a decision I made myself../..

There's no skirting around the fact that we haven't had the most successful year results wise until a few days ago, but these days I have a big smile on my face - Spartacus' prologue win/domination on Saturday, followed by the team's successful defense of the jersey. A good Tour de France = a good season../..

- Peter Sagan: What a phenomenal year he's having. Hard to believe he's this good at such a young age.

- Belgium: Can't tell you how proud I am to be Belgian!../..

- Sky: As like many of you, I'm looking to see how Sky handles the two big objectives ../.. that could prove to be a detriment.

Before I sign-off on my first blog of the 2012 Tour de France, I want to thank many of you who have reached out on Twitter and Facebook, or even stopped me on the streets, to offer your support../..

No more drama... :(

Schleck

It's nice to hear that many of you, like me, are annoyed by, and are tired of these old accusations. Despite not being at the Tour, please know that I remain strong with a healthy mind and philosophy.

He makes me wanna puke, really!!

Does he even look at Twitter? It is overwhelmingly negative on the Hog

Gag.
Poor Johan ...it is so awful to live life being 'annoyed and tired' ..
Those pesky folks just won't let him be.

Another piece of information I read in the paper today: Schlecks' lawyer used to be part of the Leopard S.A. board of directors but not anymore. It didn't say why not (fired or quit?) or since when. I also don't know if this is particularly relevant but it could be a further indication of Schlecks losing influence in Leopard, respectively drifting away from Leopard

"Does this outfit make my but% look fat? "~ JB

You know what would go really well with that? Yup. Yellow helmuts.

I'm not sure it will work for annoyed and tired but FRS works miracles for tired of being tired. He knows someone who can get him a good deal on an industrial sized case of it, so it's worth a shot.

Schlecks and Becca: there has been a big blow-out

Carlo Rock, speaker of Flavio Becca, has now publicly attacked the Schleck brothers. In an interview with Luxemburger Wort, he said the brothers were badly advised. The Schleck-clan and their lawyer Albert Wildgen had other interests than sport. Wildgen, founding member of Leopard S.A., had left the company last year but still advises the Schlecks.

Wildgen himself let the Luxemburger Wort know that he did not agree with how Becca lead the company and did business anymore.

Fuglsang continues his poor run of form with his victory in Tour of Austria...

While I agree that he should have been selected, don't you think it could be better for him career wise wining at stage at TOA and possibly the overall as well? If he was at the tour all he would be doing is what Chris Horner is doing right now.

I agree with Unknown ... the TdF non-selection was a calamity but should he win Tour of Austria it would be the biggest win of his career! Let Horner do the dirty works at the Tour.

Interesting word choice in "dirty works." What are you trying to say?

Lol I didn't intend any clinic pun, just meant like Horner had to do the other day bring Schleck to the front and then finishing 50 seconds or so behind the peloton ... not nearly as glorious as Fuglsang's stage win :D

Any one else think it's ironic that as soon as Bruyneel leaves:

- the team starts to do well

- Horner is praised pointedly by both Frank. S. and Fabian C. for helping to close crucial gaps, etc.

- domestic harmony breaks out at RadioShack, with Frank S. noting, "The good performance is also reflected in the exemplary harmony within the team."

Rather than all this pitiable, low-class trash talk by the Hog through the media of his own riders, non-payment of riders not in his good books, the list goes on.... Been behaving like a mafia hood. What a disgrace.
