Pippo_San said:In Liquigas surely they got the most entertaining duo available in cycling right now, that is Nibbles + Sagan...funny thing is they both fell short in the Classics (3rd/4th MSR - 5th RVV - 3rd AGR - 2nd LBL)
Dekker_Tifosi said:Nibali definitely transformed into a much nicer rider nowadays. Much more fun to watch then the cramping up of Gesink every race I have to admit
Gesink definitely was better 2 years ago. But where he has fallen and stagnated, Nibali just kept growing... I think even in high mountains it will be a big difference now
i think there is nothing wrong with his racing instinct. If Iglisnky wasn't so superb today everybody would talk of a great solo now.Arnout said:I'm officially Nibali fan. Secretly I was already, but after today I'm gonna do it in public
He keeps improving every year it seems and he is so versatile. Still lacks a bit of racing instinct probably, but he's still only just 27, so many years to improve on that.
I was @Vaughters who said it:Carols said:Sigh....I was out of my chair screaming at him to keep going!!! He has turned into a race animatorAlways liked him but he just keeps going up the list of my favs. Today did nothing to change that, the boy has B*LLS!!!
Read on another forum he had the hunger knock....
If the others continue to underestimate him + a bit of luck + inevitable crashing out of some of the contenders Nibali could even podium.lukinox said:If he goes to the Tour I don't think he'll do better than a top ten, but I'll be super happy if I'm wrong.
At least his descending will be even betterPippo_San said:Trouble is, if he keeps on growing balls like this, how would he sit on his bike???![]()
