What an idiot this guy named Young is. Making the same jokes as Bolt, then running with super cool sunglasses and finishing.... dead last. Does this pretenders know how stupid and laughable they look?

So far, hats up to Gatlin and Gay (in the 100´s) who didn´t behave like clowns but concentrated on their races instead. Those who tried to copy Bolt all failed miserable (besides looking extreme ridiculous).

The guy who won the 3000 did a little dance and the commentator said that he was copying bolt but that he can't run as fast as bolt. Can't a guy just ****ing win his race and do his.own dance without being accused.of copying big brother.

Great win by Katie Taylor in the boxing to get to the final. Some atmosphere by the Irish fans once again. Her last fight the IOC said the sound level was the highest of the Olympics so far. Don't know if anything has gone above it since.

Gotta give ya'll props for that. Great to see an athlete in such a brutal and underrecofnized sport receive such support. Chapaeu.

Yeah. She looks like a real woman, unlike her opposition. Another cutie is this gymnastics girl Douglas.

TBH I actually find Fraser-Pryce sort of cute as well. I don't think any of them look unnatural really...

There you go :D

Felix, Fraser-Pryce, Jeter.

Yeah Alysson Felix is special.

So it´s only coincidence that those women look like aliens nowadays, while you didn´t see such things in the 80s (outside of these GDR monsters)???

IDK I assume any woman doing the amount of weights you need to do as a world class sprinter would end up with big shoulders and a big trunk, it doesn't surprise me really. I'd have to see some footage of eighties sprints. I could buy that the training methods have changed, but I dunno about since the 80s. Still none of them look like Ostapchuk.

The weightlifting started with Ben Johnson. Before only sprinters with talent tried out. And then came FloJo.

(I don´t count the GDR women, that´s another sad story)

Here is a sprint won by a real woman in the 80s:

Did anyone see the men's discus gold medal winner celebration? The German guy? It was pure genius.

First he runs towards his family, followed by a throng of journalists. Kisses someone, picks up the flag. Then, in a way that would make the Hulk proud, he RIPS his shirt off, while roaring. Puts the flag on as a cape, then proceeds to do the hurdles course, jumping all the hurdles, leaving everyone dumbfounded. Priceless!

Just watched a little basketball now (FRA-ESP)... It´s terrible.

Not only that the motion of throws is unnatural (i mean it´s ok for women to play this sport), but it´s disgusting that the last minute of play takes like 15 mins in real life. Plus a little touch here or there, and the spain player falls down like the worst soccer divers, pretending he is dying on the field.

So, now all the fans of this sport can clobber me. I have earned it with this post. :D
But i really had to say the truth, b/c it annoyed me to watch this farce...

I mean come on guys, AFIR synchronized swimming is also for women only. There is a reason for it.
The only guy who stayed on the floor looking like he was hurt was Rudy Fernández, who fell on his back. He had undergone back surgery not long ago. In fact, he didn't return to the court after that. Navarro didn't fall when Batum punched him out of the blue.

He even managed to lose his credentials so he couldn't get in to the Olympic village and had to sleep in the subway and on a bench or something like that.

I don´t know which player it was. But a french guy did a tactical foul (uhh, ugly that something like this is needed/allowed in a sport) inside 1 min (= 15 minutes real life :D) by just touching the spanish guy and the ball.

And now the circus started: The slightly touched player took a giant leap in the air, crying like the best woman tennis player when serving, then fell on the side of his body and cringed in actor like pain. It was disgusting. The german commentator said "wow, i think the guy hurt himself more than anything the "foul" could have done to him". And then the farce called a basketball game went on for another 14 minutes until the official game clock hit 0:00 ...

This isn't football, you can't just touch the guy and the ball and have it not be a foul. On my screen it definitely looked like enough to throw Rudy off his balance, especially considering he had already taken a fall and hurt his recently injured back, thus making it doubtful he'd take a dive under those circumstances.

No, no it´s not that one. It happened at the sideline. AFIR it was with 40-48 sec to play... Believe me, there was nothing but a theatrical fall.

I am not making something up here. It really happened. If i had known i´d have to go to CAS with it, at least i´d kept some footage or diaries. ;)

I know it isn't that one, I just thought that gif should be posted regardless because it's pretty hilarious. The player in the gif is Navarro, and we've both been referring to Rudy Fernández. I already explained why I don't think he took a dive above.
