Luis Leon Sanchez - what on Earth has happened???

I think he is struggling to adjust. He will win some races later in the year probably and will be aggresive in the TDF. It will be a good tactic for Rabo and Gesink to send him and Mollema up the road on easier stages. T-Mobile just had too many leaders.

the thing is it really happened, when jvdb was a junior. this is why de cauwer shouldn't talk about dopers and doping because he was one of the worst influences himself.

I also know of some Belgians who don't like JvdB because they don't trust him and think he is doping. He has some kind of arrogant air. Like the annoyed responses against the press last year. Reminds me of T.Dekker
He scored high on the "UCI Black List" no?

yeah but according to lotto that had to do with the altitude camps

anyway that list was entirely random so i don't take that one seriously anyway
I don't trust the UCI one bit, but I won't say that the list is "entirely random" either.

Regarding Lulu's drop in performance, let's wait after the Tour de France. I know a change in teams can affect some riders a lot, but some other things can be even worse.

that list doesn't say anything, it's just a list for uci to see who they want to test the most, this has to do with sudden improved results, which is totally random, or even sickness of a rider which changes bloodvalues and uci want to be sure. I laughed hard at people believeing that crappy list, especially look at berredo, lol, if he doped is another proove it's all between your ears

it's not strange only it wouldn't matter in the results anyway unless it was mental. which could be true because all doping nowadays is mental

I don't know if Sanchez will make it as a GC rider in grand tours. He does well in one week stage races but then so does Tony Martin.........sometimes. I see Sanchez as more of a stage hunter. With his solid climbing and time trialling you would think he would do well in some of the classics. Usually when he wins it's an opportunist type move like Voeckler. He times his attacks well. This year he has been invisible.

Bertie looks like he's going to be more "human" at this year's TDF...Good for Lulu anyway.

Ahh just the same stuff as last year, performing subpar a couple of weeks before the big event and then bang the 40 Watts extra are back.

Who are the other riders (Other than Contador)???

Sometimes people question the Colombians when they ride agains other nobody's in their land. Well, what about this!

Jonathan Castroviejo won the prologue at Romandie and at Madrid and is a young, promising rider who is good at ITTs - 8th in Tirreno-adriatico and 9th in the longer Romandie ITT.

José Iván Gutiérrez... you really want me to explain? Multiple national ITT champion, twice Eneco Tour winner, has won and podiumed ITTs at the top level for best part of a decade now including 2nd in the Worlds in 2005, and is one of the most respected domestiques out there.

Jesús Herrada is a very, very promising youngster with a good ITT. He's a neo-pro this year who has been turning some heads.

Alejandro Marque rides mostly in Portugal and has been a good ITT rider and rouleur for David Blanco at Palmeiras for a couple of years. He's always been an ITT specialist.

Gorka Izagirre is another promising Euskaltel youngster with cyclocross experience.

Truth be told, it's not the strongest lineup, for sure, but there are some other decent names further down - David Blanco and David Bernabéu both appear way down but both are out of form, time and aging. Rubén Plaza is a good time triallist who is out injured, Héctor Guerra is banned, the other GC men with good time trials (Sánchez, for example) aren't riding.

But overall, the depth of ITT riding in Spain is pretty weak. Juan José Cobo was roped into representing them in the Worlds ITT in 2009 after the suspension of Guerra.
