Very impressed by Quintana, he had a good ride. Good to see Phil and Paul giving him credit instead of slurping the American boy (Talansky) like always.

It was hilarious listening to the Eurosport commentator (was it Kirby?) talking about Quintana saving his white jersey by beating Kwiatkowski today. :D He should have checked the standings before making claims that it was at all even possible for Quintana to lose white.

I think both of them have been very impressive. Standing after stage 17:

1 (1) QUINTANA ROJAS Nairo Alexander Movistar Team 66:14:07
2 (2) KWIATKOWSKI Michal Omega Pharma - Quick-Step 4:12
3 (3) TALANSKY Andrew Garmin - Sharp 8:15
4 (4) BARDET Romain AG2R La Mondiale 21:45

Hell is about the break loose.

Yep, they've both been good. Just stupid to think there was the chance Quintana would lose white today. Quintana will probably add to his lead over the next 3 stages, really hope Kwiatkowski can hold onto his top 10 though. Consistency over 3 weeks is the last skill he is missing, and thus far his is proving he has it.

kwiatkowski sucks on long climbs and he will prove that the coming days, like he did on ventoux. he will never hold top ten. just look at his legs. and he isn't colombian like henao and betancurt that can climb like monsters while having sprinter legs
