A key rider for Team Sky today will be Lofkvist. He is supposed to be the guy to help Cavendish over Poggio. He is usually quiet strong in MSR but since he got sick during T-A and couldn't get some tough and long stages in his legs, question is how fit is the do well after 280k today. If his form isn't there, Team Sky could decide to use EBH to protect Cav on Poggio, thereby limiting EBH's chances to follow an attack late on Poggio, and instead trust that EBH can get Cav back to the front after Poggio. Could be a strategy that completely fails. So, it will be important that Lofkvist is in shape today for Team Sky to succeed

There's also Hayman. Or Eisel.

Yeah, its tricky. Also, EBH wouldnt want to get stuck in a large breakaway which could end up with a few people attacking and staying away - might have to hope that others will pull back attacks and not just look at him.

Rogers and/or Lofkvist could be the men to be with Cav at the end but not sure of their form. Think Cav has shown in recent times that he doesnt need a traditional leadout although someone would be needed to pull back late breaks. Could all mean Hunt, Eisel, Hayman and Stannard have a lot of work to do on the front.

Edit; No Rogers means it may well be Lofkvist that stays until the end. Puccio replaces Rogers.

Probably cutting it fine - scheduled race finish is 4pm, so we could get to the Cipressa any time from 315 ish.
