Well, this years Cancellara is quite a differerent one, compared to last years.
As is Goss.:D

Yeah, given the season so far there is no reason to think Goss can figure in the finish this year. Just some wishful thinking on my part.

I don't really like Cancellara's chances either. He has great form, but so do lots of other quality riders. Can he drop someone like Sagan? He will need to if he is going to win. Time will tell but I have my doubts. Would enjoy seeing him ride everyone off his wheel though.

My serious prediction: Boonan - great form + solid team = win.

I love the fact that 6-day riders are making an impact so far this year, Morkov has been in a few early breaks, Iljo has been doing great work for OPQS, Kreder brothers are doing good with Garmin, Rasmussen's prologues...

I wrote Cav's chances off at the WC and what a great job he did finishing that one off.

If he wins today given that so many teams will be riding hard to drop him it will be very impressive.

Just a pity for me that I don't particularly like him.

What's different about this year's Cancellara? He was very strong last year, the strongest rider by far in the cobbled classics.

He's definately in better shape this year. He proved at strade bianche, he told in several interviews.

What he did this year at Strade Bianche was nowhere near as impressive as what he did in E3 last year. That's possibly the most impressive ride I've ever seen in a classic.

Cancellara was just really unlucky last year, he was the strongest guy by far in every classic he started yet he won none of them.

E3 was three weeks after strade bianche, much closer to his april objectives..... so I don't get your point.
No doubt, he was the strongest at flanders and roubaix.

I hope Cancellara (or boonen or any random no-favorite :D) win. He deserves a big win for what he did last year in the flanders and paris-roubaix. Indeed, he only need to be more humble.
