Pretty poor intermediate time from Huzarski, almost as bad as Di Luca.

The biggest talent in cycling with a respectable time at the finish, only 30 odd seconds down.

Barta new best time, 5 secs faster than Malori. He'll win this (and the overall too, by the looks of it).

Amazing result for NetApp. Acquarone will have a smug grin on his face.

yes, so he was not so wrong. even if the Giro is another kind of thing compared to Settimana Coppi e Bartali

No one says they will win the Giro. There were questions whether they had the level to compete in the Giro at all, it now seems that maybe they do.

Of course we won't see Huzarski comfortably in the front group there, with Rujano struggling to keep up.

nor will yous ee any of them in the first 25 of giro climbs, nor in sprints, nor in timetrial. so what's the point of them being in? guys like garzelli, betancourt, di luca are missed a lot more

don't be so sure...
konig will come under the radar and he might make the top 5,that's my little prediction...

That's a big call. I hope the injury won't affect his preparation in a negative way.

I'd much rather see them than Di Luca. In fact, I'd have been happy of they'd picked a bunch of kids who'd never ridden a bike before than him

Anyway, since when has the main catagory for deciding who gets a widlcard been whether they'll be in the first 25 on a mountain stage? I'd rather have a team who livens up the sprint stages than the mountain ones as there's loads who can do that.

Francesco Reda (Acqua&Sapone) would have probably won as he had the best time at the intermediate point and and he mistook the last turn by losing more than the 13" he got from Barta at the end.

Well NetApp won't be livening up any terrain so I wouldn't worry.
