I guess the most positive things about all this (for all of us who are not OP fans), is that at least it wasn't some Radioshrek guy, absolutely invisible for three days taking this in the TT.

Chavanel was great all race long, taking long pulls at the front, bringing back attackers. Really strong. Great race for him

Maybe chavanel shouldn't have showed how strong he is in this race for RVV.
He will be a very marked man, don't think anyone is going to let him go, unless he is by himself or way far out. Anyway even if he didn't ride well, he will still be marked but not as much.

But can other teams contain both him and Boonen? What a 1-2 punch....

I don't mind him coming second, if he keeps doing that in the bigger races as well. I mean, to target the Three Days of de Panne is a bit lame to begin with, let alone if you've just finished 2nd in Paris-Nice.
