The 3 GTs have the traditional 4 jerseys- GC, KOM, Sprint & Young Rider
The WC, WTT have another jersey. Total 14 jerseys.
Which rider has worn the maximum different number of jerseys in a Race or in his Career?

If a rider wears the yellow jersey 10 times & the KOM jersey 4 times in his career= 1 yellow jersey + 1 KOM jersey = 2 unique jerseys. Number of times the rider has worn a unique jersey

No idea the answer to this question, but as an initial attempt at some data:

Merckx:

Leader's jerseys in all 3 GTs
Points jerseys in all 3 GTs
Mountains jerseys in at least the Tour and Giro (he finished second in the mountains classification in his only Vuelta, so he might have held the jersey at some point during that race)

He was also the WC.

There was no WC TT back then, and I don't think there were young riders' jerseys either. So he wore at least 9, possibly 10, of the jerseys, and there may have only been 10 such jerseys available to him.
