I've got one of those walkie talkies - they were a piece of ****

I guess Robbie just took the first team he got an offer from.:( Anyone but radioshack!

That's why you have to turn the volume all the way up...Hopefully Robbie will be paid and retire gracefully.

Look forward to Lance giving Robbie a big lead out at TDU.

Lance will be too busy going solo trying to win the overall... if the media hype is any indication

Were they the ones that were on the same frequency as the truckies' CB radios?

I'm proud to say I rode next to him in Kortrijk when he was riding for katjoesja :)
But imo it's a good choice to go to RS, they'll let him do whatever the heck he wants as he doesn't need a train..

They should have one spot open, but this should (in theory) require extra commitment from sponsors.

Unless Menchov does join, no reason not to take McEwen to the Tour.

He'll be there

I disagree, Bruyneel has never taken sprinter to the tour why start with a 39 year old sprinter who will get his ass handed to him in every sprint by Cavendish, Greipel, Farrar, Hushovd, Petacchi, Bennati, probably even by guys like Ciolek & Pozzato. Man i am an aussie and a robbie fan by i am also a realist. I will happily eat my hat if he finds awesome form in the new year and starts carving up again in the way we all love......but i just don't see it. I can vision him picking up a few smaller wins this season but nothing that will warrant dropping a mountain domestique (a Brajkovic or ruberia type rider) for and older sprinter

I haven't heard anythjing about a possible Menchov jump. It was a pretty big deal when he signed with Geox this year. I haven't followed Geox at all. Is there any motivation for Menchov to consider changing this late in the game?
