What has happened to Sniper ? I enjoyed his posts. Loved the way he dealt with those on the motor thread whose collective response seemed to be summarised as "la la la there are no motors in any bicycles, la la la I can't hear you, la la la Femke is the high priestess of motorised doping, la la la I can't hear you. la la la a car battery weighs and ton and where would you hide it, la la la I can't hear you."

Do you even read the motor thread?

I think he does, but you wouldn't think so. I think he as well is under the assumption that everyone is doping and using motors so actual evidence isn't needed. Reckless speculation on the other hand very much is.

Sniper just isn't convinced that the only person to try and use a motor is a Belgian junior. The rumours have been around for long enough to suggest he's right.

But who is convinced that the only person to try and use a motor is a Belgian junior?


As to sniper's stance, here's what he has to say on that:

Your ban was for repeatedly ignoring warnings and bans about posting crude, vulgar, NSFW, and pornographic comments that have since been mostly removed.

Asking members to aggregate your comments to prove that you've been treated unfairly will not show the actual posts that you were banned for, but you know that too.

If you have a gripe or concern about being banned for six months you can post it in the "members suspension appreciation/depreciation" thread. Posting about your ban in threads other than the members app/dep thread is not permitted, per forum policy.

come on ID, I got banned because a cadre of fellow travellers reported every post I made and had a tin ear for satire and Wildean drollery. Brits! Brits with no humour gene.

The empire crew reported every post I made. I have never reported one off-colour post by anyone else.

My main aim, is to remove the muslin laid over the eyes where a non-positive piss test = clean. I seek to burn the emperor's clothes at the stake[sic/ intentional torturing metaphor].

We had it with USPS mkI at Daily Peloton with all the Lance homers. Now we have crossed the Atlantic.

I never made it personal, I sought to bring the funnies[sic].

If people thought I was malicious they have their wires crossed, I was never malicious. six months for being humorous.

What you don't seem to fully grasp is that there are members out there that aren't smitten with your complete lack of respect for forum rules.

Plenty of others post similar content that comes across more as obfuscating rather than discussion.

Heck one well known poster just posts nothing but derogatory snide uppity posts attacking posters yet nowt! There are others that constantly play the man and not the ball.

No, nobody is out to get sniper banned, at least in the past week anyway. All I can say is that you should report the comments that you see as violating forum policy.

No, nobody is out to get sniper banned, at least in the past week anyway. All I can say is that you should report the comments that you see as violating forum policy.

Tried that. He never got banned. He is constant.

Did not see anything in snipers posts that imo warranted a ban, but then i am not a mod.

Not seen any sky bots get banned either! Not sure why......
