I decided to do a little testing to see how far this place has sunk.
The only problem with that was the transparency of your attempt. You've proven time and time again to be too intelligent to suddenly believe what you were proposing. It didn't wash. Not saying it wasn't a fun ride, but it didn't wash.
And no, I'm not looking at this in hindsight. It was obvious as it was unfolding.

I see you're still channeling your inner, contrarian hog. That's cool,

It's BroDeals turn to be the contrarian.

I suspect that our favorite Dark Cat is simply uncomfortable with too much solidarity in a place like this because that could easily lead to a lack of critical thinking—which is a legitimate concern to have. He's filling the role in the absence of others, which is also legitimate.

BroDeal: Consistently the most entertaining poster on here. Beautiful work.

It appears that BroDeal's little thought experiment is blossoming quite well.

Which means that BroDeal's ploy worked!

Hey, it was enough to get me out of my lurking shell!
And it was all beautifully summarized here:

To get back on topic: If anyone actually believes that it just happened to be a random occurrence that Stumpy George finally broke his media silence to rock the world with a sh*t-talking-filled expose that knocked the current church bingo results to the back page in the local east-bumble news of the day, well you're dumber than anyone gave you credit for.
Of course this was PR shilling.
Mind you, it doesn't make me like Bro's posts any less.
I just like his writing that much...
To reiterate, BroDeal was playing a game, and it was obvious. Given the fictitious and disingenuous revival of Damiano Machiavelli however, the results hardly form the basis of an accurate assessment of the current state things within the walls of The Clinic.

I did have something confirmed that I had suspected, something that shows how putrid the forum has become. It might be fun when it is revealed.
When the term "putrid" is applied to a sub-forum of a cycling forum, then perhaps things are being taken a bit too seriously?
As far as anything being "revealed," (and whether or not it relates to incestuous internal dealings, or events quite external to this place) here's my take:
Even if it were to be proven, incontrovertibly, that a cabal lead by Betsy, Frankie, JV and Lemond were the ones who actually designed and patented r-EPO, and then hired North Korean commandos to hold hostage select family members of every pro cyclist, with the threat of never seeing them again if the riders didn't submit to using their evil product, all while using the same tactics to force bicycle companies to switch from steel to carbon fiber in the interest of eventually driving most manufacturing to China. Then some years later, the same cabal invented Twitter just so that—like Roman emperors overseeing a gladiatorial fight-to-the-death—they could entertain themselves as Race Radio faced off against BPC—even if all that were proven to be true?
That still wouldn't change the fact that Lance lied to Cancer Kids, and is a complete and total f'cking doosh for reasons so plentiful that they hardly need repeating (at least within this particular post).
The above revelation about the cabal would, no doubt, be interesting and certainly warrant its own thread (the title of which, I humbly submit for BroDeal’s creation) but it still wouldn't change the latter points about Armstrong. And since the discussion in question was in the Armstrong thread, any attempt to divert attention away from Armstrong only plays into Lance's very own method of attempted redemption: deflection and diversion.
When discussing Armstrong, it really doesn't matter what others did or didn't do. What Armstrong did was despicable, and no pointing of fingers is going to change that. And until he is willing to face up to the entirety of the toxic pyramid upon which he perched, the rest is just background noise. And it is, more often than not, put in place only to take the heat of Lance.
Personally, I take great satisfaction is watching the temperature rise and rise, creeping ever closer to the point of incineration.
When it gets too hot for Lance to handle? F'ck him.
