I don't mind thehog's posts. He makes stuff up, and he's wily, but at least he's doing it out of playfulness. He adds a bit of fun

the trouble seems to occur in the armstrong threads, which as you correctly stated a while back are about the dullest around. nobody except for a handful still following those. It's a darn pity we are deprived of theHog's contributions to other threads, just because of some lame incident in those lame armstrong threads that nobody reads anyway.
Slowspoke (great username btw) makes a good point about the ignore button.
to be sure, I've never seen/heard theHog smearing RR or speaking negatively about him. So the ignore function should be enough to settle the issue between them.

Of course if Hoggie had wanted to delay his departure date for his current vacation, he may have considered not returning immediately to the same argument, in the same thread, with the same people, in the same manner that led to his previous ban.

But that's just me, thinking outside of the box.

Usually because those posts do not last long. It happens almost daily.

I am not in control of the guy. I nave no idea why he does what he does.....but to ascribe blame to me for his actions is absurd. If I was not here he would find another target to stalk and bait.

I have no idea of what hoggy wrote to get banned this time, but I'm betting it would be pretty easy for any of us to imagine what it was.

A guy once told me: "Trey, a man who can play a harmonica and a guitar at the same time, that man is a musician...but when he puts cymbals between his knees, he becomes a freak." Hoggy has no subtlety in his trolling. He just cannot control himself enough to adequately restrain his posts.

I can't imagine that any of us are surprised by this development.

That wasn't a personal attack, that was factual. He had no idea of what he was talking about, but he decided to wade in anyway. It is a common folly with the hog. No biggie.

I guess you're not aware that you don't have to be smart to now what you're talking about, you just need to be informed. The two are vastly different, but I can see how you'd make that mistake.

i'm not demanding an explanation here, it's non of my damn business after all, but still i'd be curious, if only to learn something from it and perhaps end some of the speculation.

perhaps we (viz. those who care) can lobby for a reduced ban and promise the mods we'll talk some sense into him once he's back?

thanks for the reply and that bolded is certainly not reflecting my opinion.
in fact, i don't really have any opinion wrt whatever beef there is between you two. none of my business, and i'm not a contributor to the armstrong threads.
my only opinion is that I think the Clinic is a (much) cooler place with theHog than without him and that i think (from what I can tell) that his repeated bans are on the harsh side, if not fully unnecessary.

to be sure, imo both you and TheHog are among the contributors the Clinic cannot do without.

I have never requested that he not reply to me. You are inventing things again.

If you think I have posted something incorrect about the whistleblower case then I suggest you point out specific what I wrote that was wrong.....instead of more vague innuendo.
