well the 55% voters of Nibali can almost forget about it now. I can't see a miracolous comeback tomorrow.

Wiggins looked toast today, Froome was fresher
What if Froome wins this vuelta?

He made that up in a couple of km. Do you think it's not possible for him to get 1 minute on Wiggins on that horror of a mountain tomorrow? If he wins the stage he only need 35 seconds actually...

Exactly my point. Work hard for 4 kilometers and have 20 seconds to show for it. Sure he can win it, but he isn't my number 1 favorite. There are lots of people who only need a couple seconds. Is there anything in Cobo's history that indicates he can do well on a mountain like tomorrow's?

Yes. If you are lazy to research a guy you don't know, start with the 08 TdF.

Wow!!! My podium prediction went down the drain. Nibali, JRod and Kessiakoff...but as this post says Lo Squalo is down but not out after La Farrapona defeat. Most likely he didn't eat well...

Looking forward to doing some damage tomorrow and winning Angliru! ;)

so seems like nibali may have ruined his vuelta with an hunger knock . . . still

if he has good days on the angliru and on pena cabarga he can change this around.

Nibali thinks he had a hunger knock, he isn't sure.

Yet, you would be stupid to write Nibali off. The 2 times I did write him off, he did an awesome ride (Zoncolan Giro this year, and Bola del Mundo last year).
I'm not going to make the same mistake a 3rd time.

So just wait and see what will happen tomorrow. The race is still wide open

Good luck with Zubeldia, he lost 20 or so minutes today and there are no more ITT's left.

I was just thinking, that massive pointy nose of Bauke must make him very aerodynamic. Hopefully this will help him. :D

After seeing todays stage I have a feeling that Froome might win the whole thing now. To me he appeared to be the strongest rider at the finish of todays stage with the exception of Cobo and if Cobo goes for it on the Angliru one of the Sky riders has to respond and I feel that the one in the better shape to do that is Froome.

I agree that Froome is stronger than Wiggins. For that reason i hope Sky won't let him race his own race.:D

I'll go with that too. Cobo attacks with 5-6km to go. Froome goes to the front of what's left of the main bunch. He has to go flat out, balls out, to ensure that Cobo doesn't get more than a 20-25 second advantage. This effort eventually drops Wiggins with 3km to go (and probably everyone else apart from possibly the Pope). Froome finishes the stage 10-15 seconds behind stage winner Cobo with a net time bonus loss of 8 seconds. Christopher ''Vroom Vroom'' Froome wins the Vuelta a Espana by 25-30 seconds and shocks the cycling world.*

*None of the above will actually happen, probably...

i've always supported mollema.you only jumped on the gravy train bof evans because of not wanting schlck to win.

I don't want wiggins to win just because I find him annoying. He doesn't seem to ever be happy.

Wiggins is annoying, arrogant and -most importantly- extremely ugly.
Edit: Or maybe he's just not my kind of thing.

Extremely ugly is Dan Martin on a bike gnashing his teeth.
Or maybe he's not my kind of thing.
