I dont know where Landa finished finally in GC, maybe top ten, but it i a good result for him. This is not Cataluña level, and the parcours was quite good for him, but it is a good start.

Very good, Sebastian Henao also finished 4th on gc, the Henao's and König should be really strong mountain domestiques for Landa at the Giro.
Yes, it was a solid return to racing (11th on GC and aggressive on the final day). The level is pretty low here (Sky the only WT team racing) but as long as he continues to get better at Pais Vasco and then Trentino, he should be good for the Giro.
I see Moscon was also 3rd on GC. Very nice performance. He could be quite the all rounder in years to come. Sky better include him in their Flanders team instead of the likes of Fenn or Viviani!

Konig has quietly had very little racing too. Started in Valencia, crashed and hurt his knee, and hasn't been seen since. I hope he's back for Pais Vasco otherwise the Giro might be in doubt.

Nope. That should really put his Giro start in serious doubt you'd think. Missing both Konig and Intxausti will be a blow to Landa. He needs the likes of Kennaugh, Boswell or Seb Henao to step up. Sergio Henao and Lopez should do a good job.

Moscon's gonna get his chance I guess. He's impressive so far. There's the danger to burn him of course, but there ain't no other worthy options.

Landa didnt finished in Estella, and I thought him today losing time , becouse tomorrow is an important day for him, the stage he designed, the stage at his home, but in fact tomorrow is going to be a stage for GC riders, and to betoday in that top 50 main group wanst to hard for him even without the best shape.

Happy to see him in the front group, although don't think he was able to follow Contador's acceleration. Still, bodes well. I imagine he'll work for Henao tomorrow.

Yes, because he was intentionally hanging around at the back. He's clearly not at Pais Vasco for the GC. It's (rightly) all for Sergio Henao.

Blimey. Landa with Henao helping him in the Giro should be fun. Time trial will still be a big problem though ( as it will be in this race) but he will certainly animate the race.
