Last man to win solo was Pozzato in 2006 O_O

There are GT riders, One day races riders and then there's Nibali XD

If not Sagan, then Nibali is a perfect option.

Same. Dont understand the hate for either. Sagan only one that tried at the end of Poggio and in descent to close the gap out of the sprinters. Trentin with his attack also.

If not Sagan... I am very happy with Nibali winning.

Sagan rode a horrible race. It was like he wanted to attack but his grudge against Kwiatkowski held him back or something. And who was it that said, that attacking on Poggio was pointless? ;)

So Trentin's chasse patate probably cost his team the win?
And what were Sagan and Sky doing?

A strange race, but a deserving winner.

The best MS in over twenty years! I already had a lot of respect for Nibali, but now he's a legend! It was 24 years ago that someone won with a solo attack on the Poggio. I'm delighted that the sprinters didn't come back this time. What a descent!
