Don't understand people saying Sagan was riding defensively, only thinking about Kwiatkoski.

This is a physical test. He got beat. Nibali moved faster than Oss, for longer. Sagan couldn't make it up either, when he tried. Trentin rode Sagan off his wheel. Sagan just didn't have it.

This wasn't about Sagan's decision making, and anyone who isn't bringing respect for the very physical reality that is racing.

Sagan failing again, getting slightly overrated at this point

Nibali, what a campione!
Really how can a mod act like this? this is ridiculous... what a troll
That mod is allowed to have an opinion, which is not much different than some of the things that you say regularly.

He wasn't trolling, if he was then we need to go back and look at some of your posts too.

I hope Cav is okay, that crash may have ended a legendary career.

Yeah, I don't care about Cav much, but that crash looked horrible, never seen someone do a full salto before during a crash. Hope his back is ok because if you break something there...

This finale shows why the parcours of this race shouldn't be altered. A monument where you don't know until the last second whether a multi-GT winner or a prolific sprinter is going to win - that's priceless. MSR always delivers. I love this race. :)

Thats's actually the point. Nobody expected Nibali's attack exactly at that time. Oss was surprised, like everybody else! Discussing today about anybody else other than Nibali is a waste of time.

Some of yall so fixated at Sagan not winning more than anything else. Yall are lame.
I suppose everyone should be used to it by now, given his record of just 1 win in 23 attempts at monuments.

Nibali, by contrast has won 3 of the last 5 monuments he's participated in. :surprised: He's probably actually better at classics these days than GTs.

Yes, I also think that the displayed Sagan hate/criticism is stupid.
Nibali's attack was very strong.
If Sagan could pull him back (it's a huge IF), he would be totally spent and others would win anyway.
So he could only wait and see if it comes back.
Strong and brave rider won, all fine :)

I thought Sagan was riding defensively until the end when it was too late.

I have no hate for Sagan. Actually I like the guy!

They just hate Sagan. Been known.

Last year he was in the attack for win. Now he was in the bunch right behind. He will have more chances to win. This race is always like a lottery.

Happy for Nibali. That was great :). Rather talk about that than seeing people that just wanna say "Sagan fail" etc.

Sagan again did everything wrong. Attack or wait. You can't wait on the poggio and then be the one who chases on the descent. You can't win like that.
Yep, he played his cards by not attacking. And then different have the patience to see if the gamble paid off. Shocking tactics from such an experienced rider.
