Please don’t cherry pick. I said it was a feeling based off of what I have seen this season. MSR is frankly not what instigated my comment.
So its based on winning Paris Nice or on not winning two 1.1 races that while fun nobody really cares about?

I am not entirely sure Im the one cherrypicking here

I saw the note this morning but I still don't understand what the problem is. And with cyclingnews blocking everyone if you don't pay to read the articles I couldn't find out further what the issue was about. Probably a drawing would help explaining the issue.

I would rather the racing was not influenced by a moto. And I really don't see how the "no risk, no glory" line applies in a discussion about motos or not...
I’ve gotten to where I think I probably just need to shrug it off the way I have to with “traveling” violations in pro & college basketball. I wish they would whistle the violation, they should still be calling it, but it’s been clear for many many years that they’re not going to (unless it’s incredibly egregious). Of course I still groan “traveling” to myself every time I see it happen, but I won’t even bother pointing it out to someone else when I’m watching a game.

just a gut feeling that there is a dip. last stage of P-N and the way he was untouchable winning three stages the year before. that's all. i could of course be wrong. just an observation and a...feeling.

I would wait after Basque Country and L-B-L to make some conclusions. Last years P-N was with weaker field and route more suitable to him, so I wouldn't put too much on that. But there will be no doubt where he stands after Tour (if he manages to finish without crashing).

Seems like it's just blocking the articles if you have an ad blocker installed. If there's an article I really want to be able to read I open it in an incognito window which allows ads

Not sure what Mohoric even could have done there. It's not his fault that on a technical descent, the motorbike is going to have trouble getting out of the way, and this is the kind of thing that happens all the time. Anyone could have benefited if they had attacked. Only he did.

I don't have an ad blocker, and I still frequently gets hit by the paywall.

I have no problem with the www.cyclingnews.com part of this site.
But I note that they have a separate Sign In system that is different from the one we use here on the forums.
By any chance are you signed in on the www.cyclingnews.com part?
If so. Sign out and try again.

I'm not signed in. Never have been.
There's simply an ad blocker if you read - or rather attempt to read - more than five articles in a month.

If you read five articles in a month, you get hit by the ad blocker.
In that case you can try :
1) using an incognito browser window (as suggested above)
which makes it look to the site that you are a new user.
else
2) deleting the browser's cookies for www.cyclingnews.com
which makes it look to the site that you are a new user.
- which may have the side effect of logging you out of this forum.
else
3) You can actually switch off AdBlocker for the site - giving our hosts some sort of remuneration, their end.

Perhaps you mean PayWall rather than Ad blocker?

Yes, of course.
The inability to read articles has nothing to do with whether or not you have an ad blocker; there's simply paywall.

I can't switch off something I don't have. And I was just pointing out that having an ad blocker didn't make a difference.

He won't crash out & IMO if Roglic wins the Tour he won't even do so as the "strongest rider", but via a tactical coup. Just a hunch, i.e. it would be such a Roglic thing to do: just like in Liège, a win against the odds & against a stronger rider.

TJV will drop Pog when he's on a bathroom break or something & all the talk afterwards will be about how Roglic is declining & wasn't the best. Then he'll go & stomp the Vuelta for number 4. Again, a very Roglic thing.

Just my opinion & my own little fantasist prediction.

Then try 1) or 2) then - held og lykke

I was on a road trip and missed the entire race. Just caught up on the replay. What an epic edition and an epic way to win. In hindsight, Pog should have tried one big attack on the one place to attack on the Poggio and gone all in. I'm glad he didn't, he's a bit too dominant for my taste. Mohoric had one plan and went all in on it. He nearly crashed 2 or 3 times, he might have been caught on the flat, but he stayed away for a brilliant win. And by the way, nice camera work.
